Exploring the Potential of Microwave Annealing for Enhancing Si‐based GeSn Lasers
We explore low‐thermal‐budget microwave annealing to enhance the performance of group‐IV GeSn lasers on Si. Microwave annealing under optimal conditions can simultaneously relax unwanted compressive strain and enhance the material quality of the GeSn active layer, thereby reducing the threshold and increasing the laser operating temperature.

Accumulate rateless codes and their performances over additive white Gaussian noise channel
In this study, the authors propose a new class of rateless codes applicable to noisy channels, that is, the so‐called accumulate rateless (AR) codes, which concatenate the low density generator matrix (LDGM) rateless code with a simple post‐code, that is, a post‐position accumulator. The new coding structure is not only effective in reducing the ‘error

Whispering‐gallery‐mode microresonators with sharp resonant peaks enable photonic barcoding. Similar to a chameleon, a rare‐earth‐free microcavity with π‐conjugated PAHs enables visibleto‐near infrared color generation from a single microbead. The unique resonat emission (spectral barcode) can be dynamically transformed via excitation wavelength change,
