How do forelimb long bones adapt in rhinoceroses? An in‐depth examination of their microanatomy
Here, we study the bone structure in the forelimb long bones of the five extant species of rhinoceroses. By combining traditional description of virtual sections made on the bones (A) with in‐depth cartographies of the variation of bone compactness and anisotropy (B), we show how bone tissue can adapt to extreme forces and constraints in the second ...

Abstract Background: The adductor canal block (ACB) has emerged as an alternative to the femoral nerve block (FNB) after total knee arthroplasty. This meta-analysis was conducted to investigate which ACB method provides better pain relief and functional recovery after total knee arthroplasty

Our μCT‐based pilot study reveals size and shape disparity in the adult postcranial skeleton of growth‐hormone model (bGH) mice relative to wild‐type mice. bGH mice have larger and more sexually dimorphic bones, with a systemic radiodensity increase in bony sesamoids and associated, but typically uncalcified, soft tissues.

Abstract A subadult Moschognathus whaitsi from the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, was scanned using synchrotron radiation X‐ray computed tomography (SRXCT). Its subadult state allowed the cranial bones and teeth to be identified and individually reconstructed in 3D.

Abstract Dicynodonts (Anomodontia: Dicynodontia) were one of the main groups of terrestrial tetrapods in Permian and Triassic faunas. In Brazil, the genus Dinodontosaurus is one of the most common tetrapod taxon in the Triassic Santa Maria Supersequence. This genus has a complex taxonomic history and is represented in the Triassic of both Argentina and

Continuous adductor canal block (CACB) provides effective analgesia after TKA but this technique requires skill of anesthesiologists and equipment such as ultrasonography. A new technique, continuous intra-articular analgesia injection (CIA) is developed
