Isolation of Streptococcus bovis in a Patient with Undiagnosed Colon Cancer. A Case Report
One of the bacterial agents commonly associated with colorectal cancer is Streptococcus bovis. Twenty five to 80 % of patients with Streptococcus bovis bacteremia develop colorectal tumors and the incidence of colonic neoplasia associated with S.

The staging of gastritis with the olga system in the italian setting. histological features and gastric cancer risk [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Recently OLGA (Operative Link on Gastritis Assessment) classification has been proposed to identify high-risk forms of gastritis that can evolve in gastric cancer (stages III and IV).

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Tumor-associated microbiome features of metastatic colorectal cancer and clinical implications
BackgroundColon microbiome composition contributes to the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer (CRC) and prognosis. We analyzed 16S rRNA sequencing data from tumor samples of patients with metastatic CRC and determined the clinical implications.Materials ...

Intra-tumour signalling entropy determines clinical outcome in breast and lung cancer. [PDF]
The cancer stem cell hypothesis, that a small population of tumour cells are responsible for tumorigenesis and cancer progression, is becoming widely accepted and recent evidence has suggested a prognostic and predictive role for such cells. Intra-tumour

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
