iPRISM: Intelligent Predicting Response to Cancer Immunotherapy through Systematic Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
The Intelligent Predicting Response to cancer Immunotherapy through Systematic Modeling (iPRISM) model uses data from genes and immune responses to predict how well cancer patients will respond to immunotherapy. Tested on multiple cancer types, iPRISM shows higher accuracy compared to existing methods.

Abnormal DNA Methylation Profile Suggests the Extension of the Clinical Spectrum of the SETD2‐Related Disorders to a Syndromic Multiple Tumor Phenotype

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT SETD2 has an essential role in epigenetic regulation. SETD2 pathogenic variants cause neurodevelopmental disorders (SETD2‐NDDs) that most commonly include various degrees of intellectual disability and behavioral disorders, macrocephaly, brain malformations, and generalized overgrowth.

Animal models of lung cancer: Phenotypic comparison of different animal models of lung cancer and their application in the study of mechanisms

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Grafts used to construct lung cancer animal models come from various sources, primarily cell lines, patient‐derived tumor tissues, and circulating tumor cells. Based on the sources of grafts and research objectives, lung cancer animal models can be categorized into several types: chemical‐induced models, orthotopic transplantation models, heterotopic ...

Label‐Free Microscale Technologies for Isolation of Heterogeneous Circulating Tumor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
The isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from liquid biopsy samples is crucial for cancer treatment and monitoring. This review evaluates primary label‐free isolation methods for capturing heterogeneous CTCs and examines their potential to provide deeper insights into tumor heterogeneity and dynamics of cancer progression.
