Well-differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma of lung
Lung Cancer, 1995Well-differentiated fetal adenocarcinoma (WDFA) histologically resembles pulmonary blastoma, and is thought to be a subtype of pulmonary blastoma which has differentiated epithelial features resembling the fetal lung among its epithelial features and sarcomatous features. We recently encountered one patient who underwent surgery for WDFA.

Epidermotropic metastasis of primary lung adenocarcinoma
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 2016Cutaneous metastasis of lung cancer is a rare event and usually portends a grim prognosis. Several cases of lung cancer with cutaneous metastasis have been reported, but these have been largely limited to the dermis. Here we describe a unique case of cutaneous metastatic lung adenocarcinoma largely limited to the epidermis, mimicking Paget's disease or

The reaction patterns in 80 adenocarcinomas of the lung were examined with PAP-method using a monoclonal antibody against keratin and one against carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and a polyclonal antiserum against CEA. Almost all tumors showed a positive reaction to the antibodies which, however, varied quantitatively.

Adenocarcinoma of the lung: Clinicopathological study
Journal of Surgical Oncology, 1975AbstractA review of our 247 patients with adenocarcinoma of the lung revealed the overall five year survival rate to be only 0.81%.Lung resection offers the chance of cure if the lesion is peripherally located and without lymph node involvement. Direct chest wall invasion by tumor is not contraindication to surgery. Radiation therapy was not especially

Minimally Invasive Adenocarcinomas of the Lung
Advances in Anatomic Pathology, 2009Current World Health Organization (WHO) classification of lung adenocarcinomas includes noninvasive bronchioloalveolar carcinoma (BAC) and several patterns of invasive adenocarcinoma. The most common is a mixed subtype of adenocarcinoma. This group is very heterogenous and includes a wide spectrum of tumors ranging from adenocarcinomas with a dominant ...

Lung adenocarcinoma and indicators of asbestos exposure
International Journal of Cancer, 1995AbstractA case‐control study was carried out on 145 male lung‐cancer patients diagnosed at autopsy and 178 controls, in order to investigate the relationship between asbestos exposure and the cell type of pulmonary carcinoma. Adenocarcinomas (AD) were individually matched with other cell types and with controls.

Bronchioloalveolar Adenocarcinoma of Lung
The American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 1998In an attempt to understand the histogenesis and molecular pathogenesis of multifocal bronchioloalveolar lung carcinoma (BAC) we studied 28 cases of BAC using a topographic genotyping approach for the presence of K-ras exon 1 mutations and p53 loss of heterozygosity (LOH).

Changing Rates of Adenocarcinoma of the Lung
Chemical Research in Toxicology, 2014Over the past several decades, adenocarcinoma of the lung has been increasing as a fraction of all lung cancer. Examination of the available evidence led the 2014 Report of the Surgeon General to conclude that the increases in the rates of adenocarcinoma among smokers in the U.S.
