Genomic Profiling of Pediatric Solid Tumors With a Dual DNA/RNA Panel: JCCG‐TOP2 Study
In the JCCG‐TOP2 nationwide pediatric cancer genomic profiling study, 204 patients' tumors and peripheral blood from 50 institutions across Japan were successfully analyzed using a dual DNA/RNA panel. A total of 147 (72%) had potentially actionable findings, including diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic findings in 111 (54%), 61 (30%), and 64 (31%),

Endobiota–Estrobolome Profiles in Reproductive‐Aged Women With Ovarian Endometriosis
ABSTRACT Purpose This case–control study investigated whether ovarian endometriosis is associated with altered estrogen metabolism and gut or urogenital microbiota by analyzing enzyme activity, bacterial composition, and variations of estrogen metabolites in fecal, vaginal, and urinary samples. Methods Thirty‐eight reproductive‐aged women were enrolled,

A double‐positive surface marker detection approach was developed to conduct exosome surface protein detection in serum samples. It reaches single‐exosome detection, and over 300 exosome protein parameters are analyzed. The diagnostic accuracy achieved 90% in differentiation of high‐grade serous/serous ovarian carcinoma patients, benign patients, and ...

Cellular origins of mucinous ovarian carcinoma
Abstract Mucinous ovarian carcinoma (MOC) is a rare histotype of epithelial ovarian cancer. Its origins are obscure: while many mucinous tumours in the ovary are metastases from the gastrointestinal tract, MOC can occur as an ovarian primary; however, the cell of origin is not well established.

ABSTRACT Objective The primary aim was to identify radiomics ultrasound features that can distinguish between benign and malignant adnexal masses with solid ultrasound morphology, and between primary malignant (including borderline and primary invasive) and metastatic solid ovarian masses, and to develop ultrasound‐based machine learning models that ...

Abstract Mesonephric‐type (or ‐like) adenocarcinomas (MAs) of the ovary are an uncommon and aggressive histotype. They appear to arise through transdifferentiation from Müllerian lesions creating diagnostic challenges. Thus, we aimed to develop a histologic and immunohistochemical (IHC) approach to optimize the identification of MA over its histologic ...

A case of adenofibroma of the uterus.

Aims Mucinous ovarian carcinoma (MOC) is a rare ovarian cancer histotype with generally good prognosis when diagnosed at an early stage. However, MOC with the infiltrative pattern of invasion has a worse prognosis, although to date studies have not been large enough to control for covariables. Data on reproducibility of classifying the invasion pattern
