It is well-known that colonoscopy is considered the gold standard for colon cancer prevention. Although performed by experienced endoscopists, the matter remains of polyps missed during this examination. The reasons may include the size, shape and location of the lesions.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Aptamer‐Targeted PrPC Drives Colorectal Cancer Metastasis via a LYN‐STAT3 Complex and Enables Liquid Biopsy Detection

The aptamer WHY‐3E identifies PrPC as a CRC driver. Stabilized by USP18, endocytosed PrPC forms a LYN/STAT3 complex, upregulating MSN transcription to promote metastasis. Crucially, WHY‐3E sensitively detects PrPC‐positive circulating exosomes, establishing a robust theoretical foundation for non‐invasive clinical diagnostics.

SSR4 sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.

MiR‐146a‐5p Suppresses M1 Polarization of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages via IRAK1/NF‐κB Signaling in Colorectal Polyps

MiR‐146a‐5p is downregulated in colorectal polyps, leading to IRAK1 upregulation and NF‐κB activation, which promotes M1 macrophage polarization and inflammation. Overexpression of miR‐146a‐5p suppresses IRAK1/NF‐κB signaling, reduces M1 polarization, and alleviates inflammatory responses.

Polyp Detection Rate Correlates Strongly with Adenoma Detection Rate in Trainee Endoscopists

The adenoma detection rate (ADR) is a widely accepted quality benchmark for screening colonoscopy but can be burdensome to calculate. Previous studies have shown good correlation between polyp detection rate (PDR) and ADR, but this has not been validated in trainees.
