Hens fed diets with digestible Met + Cys levels equal to (0.742% of diet) or exceeding the strain recommendation (0.929%) exhibited higher egg production compared to 0.555% Met + Cys level. Approximately 0.929% dietary level of digestible Met + Cys enhanced egg mass, egg weight and daily feed intake, and improved feed conversion ratio.

Genome‐wide association analysis on 49 Sinorhizobium meliloti strains (21 de novo sequenced) reveals extensive phenotypic heterogeneity in salt tolerance, closely associated with quorum sensing, cell surface stability and adaptation. Salt‐tolerant strains exhibit a wider metabolic capacity, especially in carbon sources exploitation, underscoring their ...

Age‐Dependent Metabolomic Signatures of Dietary Restriction in Mice
Elevated hepatic glutathione (GSH) and 3‐hydroxybutyrate (3‐HB) levels in all ages of mice demonstrate an enhanced protection against oxidative stress and improvement in energy metabolism during chronic dietary restriction (DR). However, high protein or muscle degradation in liver of young mice, and large accumulation of hepatic glycogen and excessive ...

Platelet dysfunction in immune thrombocytopenia: Finding clinical subsets with platelet phenotypes
Summary Patients with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) remain a challenge to diagnose, manage and predict bleeding risk. A comprehensive assessment of platelet function may aid clinical management. This study assessed platelet parameters to predict bleeding in ITP.
