We generated multi‐tissue single‐cell transcriptomic atlases of camels and cattle, uncovering conserved and lineage‐specific cellular features across digestive and metabolic systems. Cross‐species comparisons revealed the evolutionary origin of the camel glandular sac and identified novel cell populations linked to physiological specialization ...

Association between infancy BMI peak and body composition and blood pressure at age 5-6 years.
IntroductionThe development of overweight is often measured with the body mass index (BMI). During childhood the BMI curve has two characteristic points: the adiposity rebound at 6 years and the BMI peak at 9 months of age.

Glutamine deprivation triggers transient DNA damage yet activates adaptive repair in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. We identify TRIB3 as a stress‐induced nuclear scaffold that associates with DDX5 and G‐quadruplex DNA atBRCA1 andRAD51AP1 promoters. TRIB3 loss increases G4 accumulation, suppresses HR gene transcription, elevates γ‐H2A.X, and sensitizes

Insights into infancy weight gain patterns for term small-for-gestational-age babies
Background Too fast or slow weight gain in infancy is bad for health in later life. In this study, we aim to investigate the optimal weight gain pattern during the first 2 y of life for term small-for-gestational-age (SGA) infants.

Hepatocyte BDNF Acts as a Novel Immune Checkpoint to Restrain TLR4‐Mediated Acute Hepatitis
This study identifies hepatocyte‐derived BDNF as an endogenous TLR4 antagonist that alleviates acute hepatitis. BDNF is downregulated in hepatocytes via REST‐mediated transcriptional repression during ALI/ALF. Mechanistically, BDNF binds to TLR4 on macrophages to suppress inflammation.

Metarhizium anisopliae alleviates the phytotoxic effects of polyethylene nanoplastics (NP) and lead (Pb) in rice by decreasing Pb uptake, restoring antioxidant and hormonal equilibrium, and promoting growth. Additionally, the fungus modifies the rhizosphere microbiota, enhancing both contaminant tolerance and plant growth, thereby effectively ...
