Graphs cospectral with a friendship graph or its complement [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions on Combinatorics, 2013
Let $n$ be any positive integer and let $F_n$ be the friendship (or Dutch windmill) graph with $2n+1$ vertices and $3n$ edges. Here we study graphs with the same adjacency spectrum as the $F_n$.

Graph Laplacians, component groups and Drinfeld modular curves

open access: yes, 2016
Let $\frak{p}$ be a prime ideal of $\mathbb{F}_q[T]$. Let $J_0(\frak{p})$ be the Jacobian variety of the Drinfeld modular curve $X_0(\frak{p})$. Let $\Phi$ be the component group of $J_0(\frak{p})$ at the place $1/T$.

Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy due to Biallelic Pathogenic Variants in PIGM

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective PIGM encodes a critical enzyme in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)‐anchor biosynthesis pathway. While promoter‐region mutations in PIGM have been associated with a relatively mild phenotype characterized by portal vein thrombosis and absence seizures, recent evidence suggests that coding‐region mutations result in a more severe

Distance spectrum of Indu–Bala product of graphs

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2016
The D-eigenvalues μ1,μ2,…,μn of a graph G of order n are the eigenvalues of its distance matrix D and form the distance spectrum or D-spectrum of G denoted by SpecD(G). Let G1 and G2 be two regular graphs. The Indu–Bala product of G1 and G2 is denoted by

Bose Einstein condensation on inhomogeneous amenable graphs

open access: yes, 2011
We investigate the Bose-Einstein Condensation on nonhomogeneous amenable networks for the model describing arrays of Josephson junctions. The resulting topological model, whose Hamiltonian is the pure hopping one given by the opposite of the adjacency ...

Posterior Cortical Atrophy in the Asia‐Pacific: A Report From the PCA Asian Workgroup

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA) is a distinct dementia syndrome primarily affecting spatial abilities and visual processing. It is associated with degeneration in the posterior part of the brain. PCA is subclassified into PCA‐pure and PCA‐plus syndromes based on consensus criteria.

Degree based energy and spectral radius of a graph with self-loops

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics
Let GX be a graph obtained from a simple graph G by attaching a self-loop at each vertex of [Formula: see text]. The general extended adjacency matrix for the graph GX is defined and the bounds for the degree based energy of the graph GX are obtained ...

Exactly solvable scale-free network model

open access: yes, 2004
We study a deterministic scale-free network recently proposed by Barab\'{a}si, Ravasz and Vicsek. We find that there are two types of nodes: the hub and rim nodes, which form a bipartite structure of the network.

Effects of Adjacent Channel Leakage on an Energy Detection Based Spectrum Sensing

open access: yesThe Journal of Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2014
Abstract When a primary user transmits over some frequency band assigned to it, most of its transmission power tends to be concentrated in the band but a small portion of it spreads into the adjacent bands. Thus the false alarm probability for the adjacent bands can be higher than expected, even though no primary users are active in the bands.

Normal‐Appearing White Matter Injury Mediates Chronic Deep Venous Hypoxia and Disease Progression in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...
