Identification of Natural and Artificial Modifications in DNA at the Nanometer Level
Journal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.Short single‐ and double‐stranded DNA sequences with natural and artificial markers are examined at ambient conditions using TERS to identify and localize the labelled nucleobases. The differences between single‐ and double‐stranded DNA should provide clear experimental evidence of the extreme surface sensitivity of TERS.
