Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05. Corrosion weight‐loss measurements in 1 M HCl further demonstrated significant inhibition behavior, with only 100 ppm of [Li(G3)][TFSI] (∼68.5 μL/L) reducing corrosion‐product weight loss by 63 ...

Preparation and properties of ultra-high performance concrete incorporation multi-mineral admixtures
The impact of multi-mineral admixtures on the sturdiness of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC). In this study on the premise that multi-mineral admixtures can be utilized in UHPC, we optimized the percentage of three admixtures(limestone powder, slag,

Geometrical modifications on nitrocellulose membranes can result in observable differences in signal intensity relative to a reference membrane (top and bottom left). Using two reference experiments, we have developed a theoretical model that can reproduce the experimentally observed flow changes and provide information on membrane parameters, e.g ...

Enhancing ultrasound transmission through an aberration layer exhibiting mismatched impedance with the surrounding medium possesses great implications in imaging and treatment. In this study, we show that a space‐coiling acoustic metamaterial with judiciously tailored structural profile can help improve impedance matching.

Admixtures in Concrete Construction Zusatzmittel im Betonbau
Concrete is traditionally composed of water, cement and aggregates (sand, gravel). Through the variation of type and amount of these three components, many different types of concrete can be produced.

This article investigates the dependence of the properties on the manufacturing orientation in the form of the inclination angle to the build plate of LPBF‐fabricated NiTi rods with a diameter of 150–220 µm. Metallographic, chemical, thermal, and mechanical characterization show behavior under identical manufacturing conditions that ranges from ...

Architecture‐Driven Sensor Stability in Weft‐Knitted Engineering Textiles
Textile‐integrated sensor architectures are systematically compared to evaluate their electromechanical behavior under combined mechanical and environmental loading. Pocket‐based integration exhibits stable and reproducible signals, whereas tunnel‐based routing shows higher sensitivity accompanied by increased variability.

An explicit constitutive reconstruction framework enables accurate tensile characterization of miniaturized additively manufactured specimens using only the grip‐to‐grip displacement measurements. Progressive validation through self‐consistency, analytical comparison, and inverse finite element method (iFEM) benchmarking demonstrates constitutive ...
