The impact of public drop‐off boxes and autonomous delivery robots in last‐mile delivery

open access: yesInternational Transactions in Operational Research, Volume 33, Issue 6, Page 3825-3854, November 2026.
Abstract The growing concern over emissions from last‐mile logistics is motivating the development of innovative delivery models aimed at reducing environmental impact and traffic congestion. To this end, we propose a last‐mile delivery scheme based on both public drop‐off boxes and autonomous delivery robots.

Structural Variation in Whistle Patterns of Two Coastal Dolphin Species Co‐Occurring in the Southern Israeli Mediterranean Sea

open access: yesMarine Mammal Science, Volume 42, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Two coastal dolphin species, the common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus—Tt) and the short‐beaked common dolphin (Delphinus delphis—Dd), co‐occur along the southern Israeli Mediterranean coast, where the critically endangered Dd population faces ecological pressures, potentially including competitive exclusion by that of the Tt ...

Strengthening Pharmacovigilance Reporting for Withdrawal Reactions to Support Deprescribing

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 120, Issue 3, Page 663-666, September 2026.
Pharmacovigilance plays a crucial role in post‐marketing surveillance of medicines and relies on the spontaneous reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs). Discontinuation of a drug can cause clinically relevant signs and symptoms, including withdrawal reactions; however, this subset of ADRs is not fully accommodated in current pharmacovigilance ...

Dual‐Drug‐Loaded Liposomes: Design Strategies, Mechanistic Insights, and Therapeutic Applications in Cancer

open access: yesMedComm – Biomaterials and Applications, Volume 5, Issue 3, September 2026.
Dual‐drug‐loaded liposomes enable the simultaneous delivery of hydrophilic and hydrophobic therapeutics to tumors, enhancing anticancer efficacy and overcoming multidrug resistance. Through rational formulation design and surface functionalization, these systems improve tumor targeting, modulate efflux mechanisms and EMT, and achieve synergistic ...

Mediation as Therapeutic Resolution for Conflicts about Patient Health and Care

open access: yesThe Modern Law Review, Volume 89, Issue 5, Page 691-722, September 2026.
This article shows how mediation can be a form of ‘therapeutic resolution’ in adult health and care disputes. These are typically disputes that arise under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 about an adult's best interests but also include complaints about adult health and care provision.
