Overview of ADRC

2013
The PID controller is the most widely used controller and has occupied a dominant position in industrial process control system for over 90 years. However, with the development of science and technology, the requirements of control system focus on control accuracy and rapid respond speed, and the increasingly high demands ability to adapt to the ...

On Modified ADRC Design for Uncertain Systems Under Actuator Dynamics of Limited Bandwidth With Application to 2-DOF Helicopters

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print)
In this article, the control problem for a class of uncertain systems under limited actuator dynamics is considered. A new modified active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) design is proposed to deal with external disturbance and unmodelled ...

ADRC controller for weightlifter Humanoid robot

2019 International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Computers (CONIELECOMP), 2019
The design of a controller using ADRC along with an optimal energy consumption algorithm for the humanoid equilibrium improvement based on the ZMP position is presented. The algorithm was tested on a real small size humanoid robot during a weightlifting process achieving a stability improvement for high extra weightlifting tasks.

Modified ADRC for position lower-knee exoskeleton system: Rehabilitation case

International Review of Applied Sciences and Engineering
The goal of this study is to develop a linear disturbance rejection control (ADRC) based on transfer-function approach. The proposed control strategy is applied to control the angular position of knee joint for rehabilitation purpose.

Parameters Optimization of ADRC Based on DBO Algorithm

2023 6th International Conference on Computer Network, Electronic and Automation (ICCNEA), 2023
Active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) aims to achieve robust and effective control performance in the presence of uncertainty, interference, and nonlinearity. However, the parameters of ADRC are numerous and difficult to adjust.

Improved Trajectory Tracking Control for a Continuum Robot Using Error-Driven ADRC With Input Mapping Method

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print)
Continuum robots (CRs) have drawn increasing attention owing to their unique ability to operate in constrained environments. However, due to the deformability and compliant structures of CRs, parametric uncertainties and disturbances always exist in the ...

On ADRC for photoelectrical stabilized platform

2011 Second International Conference on Mechanic Automation and Control Engineering, 2011
This paper discusses the ADRC application in the photoelectrical platform for disturbance rejection. Firstly, model of stabilized platform system is established, in which uncertain external load disturbance and unmodelled dynamics are regarded as one integrated disturbance.
