Adrenal myelolipoma in a child
Pediatric Surgery International, 2005 A case of adrenal myelolipoma is reported in a 14-year-old girl. Abdominal ultrasound examination revealed a left-sided ovarian cyst 13 cm in diameter and an 8 x 8-cm hyperechoic heterogenous solid mass localized in the right adrenal gland. The ovarian cyst and adrenal mass were removed surgically.

Myelolipoma of the Adrenal Gland
Scandinavian Journal of Urology and Nephrology, 1981Myelolipoma is a benign oligosymptomatic tumour of the adrenal gland. Clinical diagnosis and surgical removal are extremely rare. We report an operated case found incidentally by urography in a 52-year-old woman with a toxic hepatitis. The previously reported and operated cases are briefly reviewed.

Diagnostic features include (1) hyperlucent mass on intravenous pyelography with renal displacement, (2) an avascular mass on arteriography and venography, (3) solid tissue mass on B-mode ultrasonography, and (4) no clinical or chemical evidence of adrenal hyperfunction.
