Identification of antibiotic allergies in children using prescribing patterns in the electronic medical record

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Background By age three, 5%–75% of children have a documented antibiotic allergy (AL). Despite this prevalence, recognition remains low because of limited clinician knowledge and time. Our study evaluates a novel approach to identifying AL using electronic medical record (EMR) prescription patterns.

The Investigation of DNA Damage Induced by Adrenaline in Human Lymphocytes in Vitro/Ispitivanja Oštećenja DNK Izazvanih Adrenalinom U Limfocitima Čoveka in Vitro

open access: yesActa Veterinaria, 2014

Detection of Adrenaline Based on Bioelectrocatalytical System to Support Tumor Diagnostic Technology

open access: yesProceedings, 2017
An amperometric biosensor based on the bioelectrocatalytic measurement principle for the detection of adrenaline has been developed. The adrenaline sensor has been prepared by modification of a platinum thin-film electrode with a pyrroloquinoline quinone-

Volumetric analysis of root coverage with porcine acellular dermal matrix: Case study

open access: yesClinical Advances in Periodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Gingival recession is prevalent and often treated with coronally advanced flap plus connective tissue graft (CAF+CTG). Porcine acellular dermal matrix (PADM) offers a donor‐site‐free alternative. Contemporary digital imaging allows minimally invasive, three‐dimensional (3D) soft‐tissue assessment. This case report quantified 3D soft‐

Effect of aesthetic crown lengthening on life quality and self‐esteem: 2‐year study

open access: yesClinical Advances in Periodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background A gummy smile can result from several factors, often leading to a disharmonious appearance and causing physical and psychological discomfort for the patient. This study aimed to evaluate changes in self‐esteem and quality of life for patients, as well as the recidivism rate, following aesthetic crown lengthening (ACL) surgery ...

Cardiovascular Effects of Adding Adrenaline to Arthroscopic Knee Irrigation Fluid in Canine Diagnostic Procedures

open access: yesAnimals
Background: Adrenaline is used as a local haemostatic in human arthroscopy, due to its peripheral vasoconstrictive properties, which enhance image quality with minimal cardiovascular side effects.

Modified Neumann incision for implant placement in overdentures: Case series of a less invasive alternative

open access: yesClinical Advances in Periodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Conventional envelope flap techniques for implant placement in edentulous mandibles are associated with greater postoperative morbidity, especially in elderly patients or those with anatomical limitations. Minimally invasive alternatives aim to preserve soft tissues and reduce complications, enhancing clinical predictability ...

Combination of autogenous dentin graft and allograft for horizontal ridge augmentation: A case report

open access: yesClinical Advances in Periodontics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Autogenous particulate dentin has emerged as one of the promising biocompatible alternatives to traditional bone graft materials in alveolar ridge augmentation. Although its clinical success is documented, comprehensive studies combining histological and radiographic evaluations remain limited. This case report addresses this gap by
