Impaired network organization in mild age‐related hearing loss
The authors investigated the spatiotemporal characteristics of brain network functional reorganization in patients with age‐related hearing loss (ARHL) in terms of static and dynamic functional network connectivity and network switching. Compensatory within‐network segregations and between‐network integrations as well as low flexibility in default mode

Exotic scalar states in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
We investigate a family of solutions of type-IIB supergravity which asymptotically approach AdS5 × S5 but contain a non-constant dilaton and volume scalar for the five-sphere. These solutions preserve an SO(1,3) × SO(6) symmetry.

Abstract Objectives The present randomized controlled study aimed to evaluate the effects of two interventions on emotional dysregulation as a primary outcome and on depression, anxiety, stress, well‐being, self‐compassion and emotional competencies as secondary outcomes.

The sound of topology in the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
Using the gauge/gravity correspondence, we study the properties of 2-point correlation functions of finite-temperature strongly coupled gauge field theories, defined on a curved space of general spatial topology with a dual black hole description. We derive approximate asymptotic expressions for the correlation functions and their poles, supported by ...

AdS/CFT for the early stages of heavy ion collisions
I give a brief introduction to the AdS/CFT correspondence targeted at heavy-ion physicists. I also review some insights to our understanding of the early stages of heavy-ion collisions coming from selected studies made using methods of the AdS/CFT ...

Modelling smurfing patterns in cryptocurrencies with integer partitions
We propose the modelling of patterns of financial transactions‐with a focus on the domain of cryptocurrencies‐as splittings and present a method for generating such splittings utilizing integer partitions. We study current money laundering regulations and directives concerning thresholds for monitoring of financial transactions.

Scale Invariance and the Ads/CFT Correspondence [PDF]
Using the AdS/CFT correspondence, we show that the Anti-de Sitter (AdS) rotating (Kerr) black holes in five and seven dimensions provide us with examples of non-trivial field theories which are scale, but not conformally invariant. This is demonstrated by our computation of the actions and the stress-energy tensors of the four and six dimensional ...

Super Weyl Anomalies in the AdS/CFT Correspondence [PDF]
Anomalies of N = (4,4) superconformal field theories coupled to a conformal supergravity background in two dimensions are computed by using the AdS/CFT correspondence.

Abstract Objectives Recovery from sexual trauma can be complex and multi‐faceted. Most current psychological treatment protocols for trauma use a cognitive model of post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, sexual trauma may include specific complexities beyond that of a cognitive model of PTSD, such as relational factors.

Conformal anomaly from dS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
In frames of dS/CFT correspondence suggested by Strominger we calculate holographic conformal anomaly for dual euclidean CFT. The holographic renormalization group method is used for this purpose.
