Self‐compassionate reflective writing for affect regulation in Australian perinatal women

open access: yesApplied Psychology: Health and Well-Being, Volume 16, Issue 2, Page 745-764, May 2024.
Abstract The current study investigated the effect of a brief online self‐compassionate reflective writing task on affect regulation in a sample of Australian perinatal women. Participants were 55 women (Mage = 35.47, SD = 3.79) who were pregnant (16.4%) and/or had an infant <24 months old (76.4%).

Froissart bound for/from CFT Mellin amplitudes

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2020
We derive bounds analogous to the Froissart bound for the absorptive part of CFT$_d$ Mellin amplitudes. Invoking the AdS/CFT correspondence, these amplitudes correspond to scattering in AdS$_{d+1}$.

An Integrability Primer for the Gauge-Gravity Correspondence: an Introduction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We introduce a series of articles reviewing various aspects of integrable models relevant to the AdS/CFT correspondence. Topics covered in these reviews are: classical integrability, Yangian symmetry, factorized scattering, the Bethe ansatz, the ...

Hall conductivity of flavor fields from AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We use the AdS/CFT correspondence to compute a conductivity associated with massive $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetric hypermultiplet fields at finite baryon density, propagating through an $\mathcal{N}=4$ supersymmetric $SU({N}_{c})$ Yang-Mills plasma in ...

Mass and Angular momentum of Black Holes in New Massive Gravity

open access: yes, 2010
We obtain mass and angular momentum of black holes as conserved charges in three dimensional new massive gravity, after presenting the explicit expression for the potential of the conserved charges.

Worldline approach to semi-classical conformal blocks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We extend recent results on semi-classical conformal blocks in 2d CFT and their relation to 3D gravity via the AdS/CFT correspondence. We consider four-point functions with two heavy and two light external operators, along with the exchange of a light ...

Viscous hydrodynamics relaxation time from AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We consider an expanding boost-invariant plasma at strong coupling using the AdS/CFT correspondence for $\mathcal{N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory. We determine the relaxation time in second order viscous hydrodynamics and find that it is around 30 times ...

The Twistor correspondence of the Dolbeault complex over $\C^n$ [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1995
With respect to the Dolbeault complex over the flat manifold $\C^n$, an explicit description of the inverse correspondence of the twistor correspondence is given.
