Impaired network organization in mild age‐related hearing loss
The authors investigated the spatiotemporal characteristics of brain network functional reorganization in patients with age‐related hearing loss (ARHL) in terms of static and dynamic functional network connectivity and network switching. Compensatory within‐network segregations and between‐network integrations as well as low flexibility in default mode

R2 Corrections to the Jet Quenching Parameter
A calculation of R2 corrections to the jet quenching parameter from AdS/CFT correspondence is presented. It is shown that these corrections will increase or decrease the jet quenching parameter depending on the coefficients of the high curvature terms.

Temporal Wormholes From Temporal Quantum Correlations
Recent developments in quantum theory suggest a unified treatment of space and time, where spatial and temporal correlations can be regarded as equivalent. Specifically, spatial correlations between two systems at one time have been shown to correspond to temporal correlations of a single system at two times, via partial transposition.

Modelling smurfing patterns in cryptocurrencies with integer partitions
We propose the modelling of patterns of financial transactions‐with a focus on the domain of cryptocurrencies‐as splittings and present a method for generating such splittings utilizing integer partitions. We study current money laundering regulations and directives concerning thresholds for monitoring of financial transactions.

Heat engines for scale invariant systems dual to black holes
According to holography, a black hole is dual to a thermal state in a strongly coupled quantum system. One of the best-known examples of holography is the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence.

Screening of quark–monopole in N=4 plasma
We study a quark–monopole bound system moving in N=4 SYM plasma with a constant velocity by the AdS/CFT correspondence. The screening length of this system is calculated, and it is smaller than that of the quark–antiquark bound state.

Abstract Objectives Recovery from sexual trauma can be complex and multi‐faceted. Most current psychological treatment protocols for trauma use a cognitive model of post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, sexual trauma may include specific complexities beyond that of a cognitive model of PTSD, such as relational factors.

Holographic fractional order phase transitions in CFTs dual to AdS black holes
In this work, we investigate the CFT phase transitions of various AdS black hole solutions including the Reissner–Nordström–AdS (RN-AdS) black hole, the ModMax-AdS black hole, and the RN-AdS black hole formulated within the framework of Kaniadakis ...

Thermodynamic Volume in AdS/CFT
In this note, we study on extended thermodynamics of AdS black holes by varying cosmological constant. We found and discussed pressure and volume of both bulk and boundary physics through AdS/CFT correspondence.
