Patient Perspectives on What Alleviates Hoarding Disorder Symptoms and Improves Wellbeing: A Systematic Review of Qualitative Data

open access: yesClinical Psychology &Psychotherapy, Volume 32, Issue 5, September/October 2025.
ABSTRACT Hoarding disorder is a debilitating psychological disorder that is difficult to treat. Poor treatment response to current interventions indicates that new perspectives are needed. This systematic review examines qualitative and case study research on patient‐centred strategies for reducing hoarding disorder symptoms and improving wellbeing. We

Integrability and the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2011
The description of gauge theories at strong coupling is one of the long-standing problems in theoretical physics. The idea of a relation between strongly coupled gauge theories and string theory was pioneered by 't Hooft, Wilson and Polyakov. A decade ago, Maldacena made this relation explicit by conjecturing the exact equivalence of a conformally ...

Singapore upon the Korea Strait? Cyberlibertarian Desires and Anxious Regulation in Busan's Blockchain Regulation Free Zone

open access: yesAntipode, Volume 57, Issue 5, Page 1892-1913, September 2025.
Abstract This article examines the intersection of Asia's blockchain industry and special economic zones (SEZs). SEZs have been promoted to localise blockchain technology by disparate actors from cyberlibertarian figures to Asian blockchain firms, national policymakers, and local politicians.

Open AdS/CFT via a double-trace deformation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A concrete model of extracting the physics from the bulk of a gravitational universe is important to the study of quantum gravity and its possible relationship with experiments.

Growing extra dimensions in AdS/CFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
What is the dimension of spacetime? We address this question in the context of the AdS/CFT Correspondence. We give a prescription for computing the number of large bulk dimensions, D, from strongly-coupled CFT d data, where “large” means parametrically ...

Integrability and the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2009
In this article we review the recently discovered asymptotic integrability in the planar N = 4 SYM theory and discuss its breakdown beyond the asymptotic region due to the wrapping interactions. We also discuss novel dynamical tests of the AdS/CFT correspondence one can perform in the special cases when the wrapping interactions may be neglected.

Note on anomalies in the AdS-CFT correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1999
We test the AdS/CFT correspondence in the case of a d=4 N=2 SCFT by comparing chiral anomalies which are of order N in the 't Hooft large N limit. These include corrections of order 1/N to the conformal anomaly, thus testing the correspondence beyond the extreme large N limit.

Is Lifting Technique Related to Pain and Functional Limitation? A Replicated Single‐Case Design Study of Five People With Lifting‐Related Chronic Low Back Pain

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pain, Volume 29, Issue 6, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic low back pain (CLBP) is often provoked by lifting activities, but the relationship between changes in lifting technique and clinical outcomes while undergoing intervention remains unclear. This study examined the within‐person relationships between changes in lifting technique and changes in pain and functional limitation in
