Classical conformal blocks via AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
A bstractWe continue to develop the holographic interpretation of classical conformal blocks in terms of particles propagating in an asymptotically AdS3 geometry. We study n-point block with two heavy and n−2 light fields. Using the worldline approach we

Note on anomalies in the AdS-CFT correspondence [PDF]
We test the AdS/CFT correspondence in the case of a d=4 N=2 SCFT by comparing chiral anomalies which are of order N in the 't Hooft large N limit. These include corrections of order 1/N to the conformal anomaly, thus testing the correspondence beyond the extreme large N limit.

Emotion Regulation in the Preadolescent Brain and the Role of Individual Temperamental Differences
Here, we examined the link between emotion regulation in the brain and individual self‐regulation traits in preadolescence by using a color flanker task in a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) setting. Results revealed that preadolescents with better self‐regulation were faster to resolve conflict in a negative emotional situation (better ...

In this paper we will show some applications achieved within type IIB superstring backgrounds since the emergence of the AdS/CFT correspondence. This correspondence relates a super Yang-Mills (SYM) theory, with strong coupling, and a type IIB superstring

Open AdS/CFT via a double-trace deformation
A concrete model of extracting the physics from the bulk of a gravitational universe is important to the study of quantum gravity and its possible relationship with experiments.

ABSTRACT Hoarding disorder is a debilitating psychological disorder that is difficult to treat. Poor treatment response to current interventions indicates that new perspectives are needed. This systematic review examines qualitative and case study research on patient‐centred strategies for reducing hoarding disorder symptoms and improving wellbeing. We

Abstract This article examines the intersection of Asia's blockchain industry and special economic zones (SEZs). SEZs have been promoted to localise blockchain technology by disparate actors from cyberlibertarian figures to Asian blockchain firms, national policymakers, and local politicians.

Growing extra dimensions in AdS/CFT
What is the dimension of spacetime? We address this question in the context of the AdS/CFT Correspondence. We give a prescription for computing the number of large bulk dimensions, D, from strongly-coupled CFT d data, where “large” means parametrically ...

AdS/CFT for the early stages of heavy ion collisions
I give a brief introduction to the AdS/CFT correspondence targeted at heavy-ion physicists. I also review some insights to our understanding of the early stages of heavy-ion collisions coming from selected studies made using methods of the AdS/CFT ...
