Integration adsorption chillers with conventional power plant [PDF]
According to predictions, electricity consumption in developed countries will increase three times by 2020 compared with 1970. In contrast, in developing countries, where the population may double by 2020 relative to 1970, there may even be a twentyfold increase in electricity consumption [1].

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Electromagnetic Radiation Stimulated Learning in Perovskite Nickelates
ABSTRACT Biological plasticity refers to the ability of synapses to strengthen or weaken over time. These adaptive properties play a fundamental role in learning and memory, spanning many orders of magnitude in timescales. Short‐term plasticity (STP) arises from rapid correlative activity, while long‐term plasticity (LTP) is governed by slower ...

Holey‐structured, edge‐carboxylated graphene with a controlled specific surface area was synthesized using an environmentally friendly, CO2‐activated, KOH‐free ball‐milling process. ABSTRACT Graphene, notable for its high specific surface area, is ideal for catalyst support but faces challenges under harsh thermal catalytic conditions.

An integrated vapor chamber couples a hierarchically biporous copper wick with a micro/nano‐textured superhydrophobic condenser to form a self‐sustained liquid–vapor loop. The device dissipates extreme heat fluxes above 600 W/cm2, even when the condenser is above the heater, by overcoming the permeability‐capillarity trade‐off in conventional vapor ...
