Poly(Alkoxythiophene) Rod‐Coil Block Copolymers for Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present the first synthesis of poly(3‐alkoxythiophene) rod‐coil block copolymers as a new architecture for OMIECs. Incorporating PEG and PLLA coils can enhance device performance beyond the homopolymer. The figure‐of‐merit depends uniquely on coil length.

An IGC Study of the Role of Washing Procedures on the Adsorption Properties of Activated Carbons

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2007
Inverse gas chromatography (IGC) was used to study the influence of different washing treatments (acid, basic and combined washings) on the adsorption properties of two different activated carbons (steam- and chemically-activated).

A Multifunctional Ionograsper Enabling Ion‐Redistribution Proximity Sensing and Structural‐Reconfiguration‐Driven Bidirectional Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A solid‐state ionic actuator integrates sensing, actuation, and memory within one material. A brief UV pulse induces long‐lasting deformation via coupled network rearrangement, dehydration, and rehydration, while ionic redistribution enables self‐powered sensing, supporting multifunctional, energy‐efficient soft robotic functions without continuous ...

Efficient Sunlight Degradation of Wide‐Spectrum Antibiotics Through Enhanced Charge Separation in SnTCPP NPs‐Nb2C Schottky Heterojunction: Ultrafast Carrier Dynamic Study

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Due to enhanced charge transfer and carrier mobility on the surface, the SnTCPP NPs‐Nb2C Schottky heterojunctions demonstrate exceptional sunlight‐driven catalytic activity toward tetracycline antibiotics and ofloxacin degradation, achieving a removal efficiency of up to 99.9% within 60 min of irradiation, both in model wastewater and natural water ...

Adsorption of Polydisperse Polyvinyl Alcohol Molecules on the Surface of Activated Carbons

open access: yesAdsorption Science & Technology, 2003
The adsorption of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) on activated carbons was studied in aqueous solutions. Each batch of activated carbon produced was obtained via a definite number of technological operations using wood as the raw material. The adsorption process

Controlled Synthesis of Tri‐ and Multi‐Doped Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review systematically evaluates synthesis routes for tri‐ and multi‐doped graphene, from hydrothermal and pyrolysis methods to flash Joule heating, critically assessing how each governs dopant incorporation, bonding configuration, and resulting electronic properties.

Synthesis and Evaluation of Carbon Black-Containing Hydrogels for the Adsorption of 5-Fluorouracil

open access: yesGels
The widely used anticancer drug 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) may potentially elicit adverse side effects on the eyes. To address this problem, we aimed to synthesize hydrogels containing carbon black (CB), a porous material, for use as a 5-FU-adsorbent contact ...

Modulation of miR‐23b Wnt/β‐catenin Axis Strengthens Endothelial Barrier Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Early blood‐brain barrier (BBB) disruption contributes to stroke and CNS disease pathology. miR‐23b was identified as a regulator of BBB integrity in brain endothelial cells. Inhibition of miR‐23b enhanced barrier‐associated properties, promoted repair‐related signaling, and reduced BBB leakage in experimental stroke models, supporting further ...

Research Progress in Adsorption and Separation of Medical Isotope 99Mo

open access: yesJournal of Isotopes
99Mo is an important nuclide widely used in nuclear medicine However, due to the safety risks in the conventional process of producing 99Mo by fission of highly enriched uranium, reliable 99Mo production methods were developed. Column chromatography has

Electrolyte Additive Strategies in Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries: Recent Advances and Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article provides a comprehensive overview of the current status and future development directions of AZIBs electrolyte additives in three aspects: stabilizing zinc anodes (uniform deposition, inhibition of dendritic crystals), protecting cathodes (structural stability, inhibition of dissolution), and enhancing electrolyte stability (wider ...
