Adsorption chromatography of polioviruses on porous glass
Virology, 1974Abstract The paper presents a new procedure for the purification and separation of viruses based on true adsorption chromatography of virions on porous glass. By means of this method a poliovirus suspension is purified 1000-fold from all components of the culture medium and is concentrated 10-fold at the same time.

Liquid Adsorption Chromatography
1999Adsorption chromatography is based on the retention of solute molecules by surface adsorption. Intermittent capture and release of solute molecules by the stationary phase are controlled by two basically different mechanisms or some combinations thereof.

Adsorption Chromatography on Silica-treated Paper
Nature, 1958PAPER partition chromatography is not successful with many organic compounds for two reasons: (1) the compounds have low solubility in water, and hence move on the solvent front in normal partition systems; (2) low reactivity of the compounds makes detection of the position of spots difficult.

Adsorption Chromatography of Direct Azo Dyes
Nature, 1963DIRECT azo dyes contain in most cases a number of coloured by-products which may adversely influence the shade of the dye, its stability in light and distort its biological action. In view of the importance of direct azo dyes in industry as well as in biology and medicine a number of authors1–10 worked on the problem of their purification.
