Hydrogen adsorption and phase transitions in fullerite [PDF]
Hydrogen desorption and adsorption properties of the fullerene materials C60, C70, and fullerite (a mixture of C60 and C70) were measured volumetrically using a Sievert's apparatus.

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.

Determination of biosorption mechanism in biomass of agave, using spectroscopic and microscopic techniques for the purification of contaminated water [PDF]
[Abstract] Lead (Pb2+) and copper (Cu2+) are polluting metals due to their toxicity; however, the extraction of these metals is essential for economic development, so it is important to look for efficient and low-cost alternatives that can remove heavy ...

Adsorption Isotherms from Chromatographic Measurements [PDF]
DE VAULT1 has directed attention to the possibility of obtaining the adsorption isotherm of single solutes from chromatographic results of the 'diffuse' boundary, suggesting a differential equation for evaluating the measurements. A more useful equation can be obtained by integration of the equation ν/x–α=d1/dc. . . .

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

The Breakthrough Time Analyses of Lead Ions in CCL considering Different Adsorption Isotherms
As the 2 m thick compacted clay liner with permeability coefficient of 1 × 10−7 cm/s is required in the Chinese technical specifications about landfill, the performance of this compacted clay liner was analyzed considering three different adsorption ...
