Analysis of Binary Adsorption Excess Isotherms at the Liquid/Solid Interface
Adsorption excesses of binary liquid mixtures are the primary experimental quantity in liquid-phase adsorption onto porous or disperse solids.

Automated adsorption isotherm device
A device is described for the automated determination of the water adsorption isotherms of biological materials. The vapor pressure and weight of the adsorbate are measured directly with appropriate transducers, and equilibrium is defined on the basis of constant pressure.

Removal of Pyrethrin from Aqueous Effluents by Adsorptive Micellar Flocculation
The equilibrium adsorption of pyrethrin onto aggregates formed by the flocculation of micelles of the surfactant sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) with aluminium sulphate is reported.

Adsorption isotherms of charged nanoparticles [PDF]
We present theory and simulations which allow us to quantitatively calculate the amount of surface adsorption excess of charged nanoparticles onto a charged surface. The theory is very accurate for weakly charged nanoparticles and can be used at physiological concentrations of salt.

Interaction of antithrombin III with surface-immobilized albumin-heparin conjugates [PDF]
The interaction between antithrombin III (ATIII) and albumin-heparin conjugates covalently coupled onto carboxylated polystyrene beads either in buffer containing albumin or in plasma was studied using 14C-labeled ATIII.

Molecular recognition on acoustic wave devices [PDF]
Microporous thin films composed either of zeolite crystals embedded in sol-gel derived glass or of a molecular coupling layer, zeolite crystals and a porous silica overlayer, were formed on the gold electrodes of Quartz Crystal Microbalances (QCM). The

Determination of the Specific Surface Areas of Non-Porous and Macroporous Carbons
The current work is focused on the examination of a new method for the determination of the specific surface areas of non-porous and macroporous carbons from gas adsorption isotherms.
