First-Principle Insight into Ga-Doped MoS2 for Sensing SO2, SOF2 and SO2F2

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
First-principle calculations were carried out to simulate the three decomposition gases (SO2, SOF2, and SO2F2) of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) on Ga-doped MoS2 (Ga-MoS2) monolayer.

The Dielectric Behavior of Protected HKUST-1

open access: yesChemistry, 2022
We investigated the adsorption properties and the dielectric behavior of a very well-known metal-organic framework (MOF), namely Cu3(BTC)2 (known as HKUST-1; BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate), before and after protection with some amines. This treatment

Adsorption properties of Fe on MoS2

open access: yesSurface Science Letters, 1985
Adsorption of Fe on the basal plane of MoS2 layer compound has been studied in an UHV system with LEED, AES, EELS and WF measurements. The deposited Fe formed initially 2D islands which with increasing coverage developed to small 3D Fe particles. The average size and number of the particles depended on the substrate temperature.

Adsorptive property of eggshell.

open access: yesNIPPON KAGAKU KAISHI, 1990
Although eggshell is partially covered by collagen film, it is sufficiently porous to adsorb a considerable amount of formic acid gas (72 cm3/g) in contrast to calcium carbonate reagent. A high temperature treatment at 700°C removed completely the collagen film, and decomposed the eggshell to calcium oxide which showed the same adsorptive property as ...

The enhanced adsorption properties of phosphorus from aqueous solutions using lanthanum modified synthetic zeolites

open access: yesGreen Processing and Synthesis, 2023
In this study, a modified synthetic zeolite adsorbent was synthesized by the hydrothermal method using coal fly ash as the main raw material, and the enhanced phosphorus adsorption properties from aqueous solutions were then evaluated.
