Clinical resistance to platinum chemotherapy in ovarian cancer [PDF]
Platinum drugs are the most active agents in ovarian cancer. Their cytotoxicty results from DNA crosslinking. High tumour response rates are seen, but 80 % of patients relapse. Major mechanisms of platinum resistance in patients remain to be established.

Dysregulated protein modifications drive tumorigenesis. RINES, an E3 ubiquitin ligase, represses tumor cell proliferation and metastasis by facilitating RING domain‐dependent, ubiquitin–proteasome‐mediated degradation of STAT3 and MYC, which consequently restrains cancer stemness and oncogenic progression.

Rucaparib and Niraparib in Advanced Ovarian Cancer
Rucaparib and niraparib are two of the newest U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved PARP inhibitors, joining olaparib with indications in ovarian cancer. Both drugs have led to meaningful responses when used as monotherapy in previously treated ovarian cancers, with niraparib demonstrating activity in both BRCA-mutated and BRCA wild-type tumors ...

Ovarian cancer serum biomarker discovery using proteomics [PDF]
Ovarian cancer is a lethal gynaecological malignancy which is known as the silent killer. It has a poor prognosis due to the lack of major symptoms in early stage disease and hence its late detection.

Introduction Talazoparib is a strong PARP inhibitor with significant catalytic inhibition as well as the ability to cause PARP entrapment at DNA damage sites. It is one of the recommended treatments for individuals with BRCA-mutant advanced breast cancer,

Technical limitations often let dominant signals overshadow rare cell types and fine‐grained heterogeneity in spatial transcriptomics. SemanticST, a graph neural network using multi‐semantic graph fusion and a novel min‐cut loss, recovers these subtle patterns.

IFI27 and BAX are Essential for GSDME‐Mediated Myeloma Cell Pyroptosis
The proposed model of GSDME‐mediated MM cell pyroptosis modulated by IFI27 and BAX. IFI27 is downregulated in MM cells. Upon pyroptotic stimulation, such as DOX or ETO treatment, IFI27 is induced, therefore liberating BAX from BCL‐2 ❶. BAX is then recruited to mitochondria and forms homo‐oligomeric channels in OMM, therefore leading to cytochrome C ...

Advances in treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer.
Since most cases of epithelial ovarian cancer are advanced at diagnosis, this disease is one of the most lethal malignancies of the female genital tract. In recent years, aggressive cytoreductive surgery and chemotherapy have been employed in an attempt to improve the survival rate in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer.
