Role of Water in Low‐Temperature CO2 Reduction at Defect‐Rich TiO2
Our results highlight the potential of reduced titania as a noble metal‐free CO2 activation catalyst and show the activation of CO2 on highly defective TiO2 using in situ synchrotron‐based NAP‐XPS from room temperature to 700 K. The distribution of surface intermediates can be decoded as a simultaneous population of reaction routes, revealing water (OH)

Effects of Light on Adventitious Rooting In Vitro
Vegetative propagation through stem cuttings and in vitro microcuttings enables large-scale multiplication of superior genotypes in various crop species. This approach is widely used both to propagate and select trees with desirable genetic traits as well as to preserve a significant proportion of genetic diversity.

Coking is the central source of deactivation of zeolite catalysts. Using in situ XPS along with complementary methods, we identify differences in the formation kinetics and composition of surface coke on industrially relevant ZSM‐5 catalysts during MTH conversion, demonstrating the strong potential of this technique for studying catalyst deactivation ...

What Makes an “Ideal” Cell Line for Recombinant Adeno‐Associated Virus Production?
Several host cell types have been used to produce rAAVs to date. Cell line‐specific traits that are beneficial in the context of rAAV manufacturing are reviewed here, with the goal of developing a consensus on the ‘ideal’ characteristics that an rAAV production host should possess (created with Biorender.com).

Modeling Non‐GM Segregation Strategies at the Grain Elevator
ABSTRACT Background and Objective As new opportunities arise for non‐genetically modified (non‐GM) products in grain markets, segregation becomes crucial but challenging in commodity‐friendly infrastructures such as grain elevators. This study developed probabilistic models using Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate three segregation strategies ...

Adventitious roots induction from in vitro leaves of Phaleria macrocarpa (Mahkota Dewa) / Noor Nabihah Wajihah Ahmad Zahrullail [PDF]
Plants, such as Phaleria macrocarpa, produce secondary metabolites that are beneficial to humans for its properties such as anti-inflammatory and anti¬ proliferative. For centuries, P.macrocarpa has been used as traditional medicine to cure illnesses. In
