Holding waters of 4th-instar larvae of both Aedes triseriatus (Say) and Aedes atropalpus (Coquillett) are shown contain an oviposition attractant for Ae. triseriatus adults. It is demonstrated that the attractants are contained in the volatile fraction of this material.
