EXPERIMENTAL AND NUMERICAL ASSESSMENT OF A LAST STAGE ST BLADE DAMPING AT LOW LOAD OPERATION
As LP steam turbines are requested to work at strong part-loads, LSB stalled and unstalled flutter may occur. Testing on a downscaled steam turbine in T10MW test plant have been carried out to measure LSB aggregated damping at low load.

A bimetallic Mn–Ca nanoreactor (MCC) is developed as a non‐nucleotide STING nanoagonist for cancer metalloimmunotherapy. MCC induces Ca2+ overload and hydroxyl radical generation, resulting in mitochondrial damage and mtDNA release. The released mtDNA cooperates with Mn2+ to robustly activate cGAS–STING signaling.

Flutter Mechanism of a Thin Plate Considering Attack Angles
It is well known that the flutter performance of a section is sensitive to the changing wind angles of attack. Exploring the thin plate’s flutter mechanism under different angles of attack is excellent, which helps understand inner flutter ...

Molecular Cross‐Linking of MXenes: Tunable Interfaces and Chemiresistive Sensing
In this study, Ti3C2Tx MXenes are initially functionalized using oleylamine ligands to form stable dispersions in an organic solvent. Subsequently ligand exchange with α,ω‐diaminoalkanes enables cross‐linking, along with precise tuning of interfaces. This structural control translates into tunable charge transport and responsive VOC sensing, showing ...

Analytical comparison of effects of solid-friction and viscous structural damping on panel flutter [PDF]
A Galerkin modal analysis is presented that accounts for the effects of both solid friction and viscous structural damping on panel flutter, based on unsteady aerodynamic forces from supersonic potential flow.

Determination of Aerodynamic Damping at High Reduced Frequencies
In turbomachines, forced response of blades is blade vibrations due to external aerodynamic excitations and it can lead to blade failures which can have fatal or severe economic consequences. The estimation of the level of vibration due to forced response is dependent on the determination of aerodynamic damping.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.
