Investigation on the influence of aerodynamic characteristics of GAW-1 two-element airfoil with slot

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan
As a passive flow control technology, airfoil slotting has the characteristics of simple structure and high efficiency in improving stall. CFD method is used to study the slotting of GAW-1 two-element airfoil to explore the influence of slot parameters on

Feasibility and Preliminary Efficacy of Integrative Neuromuscular Training for Childhood Cancer Survivors: A Pilot Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often exhibit early deficits in muscle and movement competence, which can compromise long‐term health. Integrative neuromuscular training (INT), a multifaceted approach combining fundamental movement activities with strength exercises, may help address these deficits during ...

Blinatumomab Utilization in Pediatric B‐Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: Experience From the Mountain West

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Blinatumomab is a bispecific T‐cell engager approved for the treatment of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). Outpatient home infusion reduces hospitalization burden and optimizes resource utilization, but is logistically challenging.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Separable shape tensors for aerodynamic design

open access: yesJournal of Computational Design and Engineering, 2023
AbstractAirfoil shape design is a classical problem in engineering and manufacturing. In this work, we combine principled physics-based considerations for the shape design problem with modern computational techniques using a data-driven approach. Modern and traditional analyses of two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) aerodynamic shapes ...

Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Research on the influence of deicing airbag and simplified model on aerodynamic characteristics

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan
As a common deicing system for turboprop aircraft,it is of great significance to evaluate the influence of deicing airbag on the aerodynamic characteristics of the aircraft. Based on the aerodynamic deicing system installed on one aircraft, simulating the

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
