A Case Study of Chemical Characteristics of Daytime and Nighttime Ambient Particles in Shanghai, China

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2015
Ambient daytime and nighttime PM2.5 (particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm) and TSP (the total suspended particulates) samples were collected at two sites (named Pudong and Jinshan) in Shanghai. The concentrations of PM2.5 and TSP

HARMLESS Early Warning System for Advanced Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
The HARMLESS Early Warning System tackles Advanced Materials (AdMa) risk governance by providing a framework, organised in two tiers, underpinned with methods/tools to support risk assessors in the pre‐assessment preceding risk assessment. It allows for initial screening to identify AdMa with concerns considering exposure, hazards, sustainability and ...

Formulation and Process for Air Stable Zn‐Based Printed Flexible Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
A sustainable, screen‐printable zinc‐based ink combining micro‐ and nanoparticles with micro‐fibrillated cellulose enables flexible electronics with exceptional air stability. A multi‐step chemical sintering process boosts conductivity to 8.37 × 10⁵ S m−¹ among the highest for Zn inks, while maintaining performance after six months.

Ultrasound‐Induced Nitric Oxide‐Propelled Nanomotor for Multimodal Theranostics of Cancer with Deep Penetration and Extended Lifetime

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hollow nanomotor (PM‐HMSN/Arg) propelled by ultrasound‐triggered nitric oxide (NO) was developed. The nanomotor employs a “tethering‐relaxing‐drilling” mechanism to overcome biological barriers, enabling multimodal theranostics of cancer with deep penetration and extended lifetime.
