Retrieval of Nighttime Aerosol Optical Thickness from Star Photometry
In this study star photometry was applied to retrieve aerosol optical thickness (AOT) at night. The star photometry system consisted of small refractor, optical filters, CCD camera, and driving mount and was located in Suwon. The calibration constants were retrieved from the astronomical Langley method but standard deviations of these were more than 10%

Measurement and modeling of diffuse ultraviolet radiation: A review
Solar UV radiation consists of direct and diffuse UV components. The diffuse component contributes to the exposure received by humans and to the risk of skin cancer and sun‐related eye disorders. This review aims to determine future research directions for the measurement and modeling of diffuse solar UV radiation.

Spectral characterization of three wearable electronic ultraviolet radiation dosimeters
Excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation poses significant public health risks, including DNA damage and skin‐related pathologies. Wearable electronic UV dosimeters enable accurate studies and quantification of solar UV‐radiation exposure on an individual level. Due to variations in the spectral distribution of solar radiation, the spectral mismatch

Aerosol optical thickness (AOT) retrieval over land using satellite image-based algorithm
The aim of this study is to present and apply the proposed algorithm on archived time series Landsat TM over an urban area in the vicinity of Heathrow Airport (UK) acquired in 1984–1986 and to two up-to-dated Landsat TM images in the vicinity of Paphos ...
