Characterization of Bacteria on Aerosols From Dust Events in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa
We identify bacteria types on collected dust samples in Dakar Senegal, a region that experiences frequent Saharan dust events. We use classical techniques to identify bacteria types from dust samples.

Retrieval of the optical properties of tropospheric aerosols over Athens, Greece combining a 6-wavelength Raman-lidar and the CALIPSO VIS-NIR lidar system: Case-study analysis of a Saharan dust intrusion over the Eastern Mediterranean [PDF]
The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) 6-wavelength (355, 387, 407, 532, 607 and 1064 nm) Raman lidar system has been used to derive the aerosol optical properties (e.g. the lidar ratio, the aerosol backscatter and extinction profile) and the

This work establishes a framework for high‐resolution printed interconnects by coupling e‐jet printing control, multilayer deposition, and sintering optimization. Ink properties and printing speed influence particle stacking, while different sintering atmospheres drive distinct microstructural evolution.

Simulation and observations of stratospheric aerosols from the 2009 Sarychev volcanic eruption [PDF]
We used a general circulation model of Earth’s climate to conduct simulations of the 12-16 June 2009 eruption of Sarychev volcano (48.1°N, 153.2°E).

Molecular Inks for the Development of Complex 3D In‐Mold Electronics
Molecular inks (MINKs) enable the fabrication of thermoformed 3D circuits by decoupling the forming and metallization steps. Following thermoforming, intense pulsed‑light or thermal processing converts the patterned MINKs into complex 3D conductive tracks with improved stretchability and electrical performance, advancing low‑cost, high‑performance in ...

Computation of liquid-liquid equilibria and phase stabilities: implications for RH-dependent gas/particle partitioning of organic-inorganic aerosols [PDF]
Semivolatile organic and inorganic aerosol species partition between the gas and aerosol particle phases to maintain thermodynamic equilibrium. Liquid-liquid phase separation into an organic-rich and an aqueous electrolyte phase can occur in the aerosol ...

An in situ electroplating approach for MEX 3D printing is proposed, enabling copper deposition during the fabrication of conductive polymers. The method combines a printer‐integrated plating head, ML‐based g‐code control, and stop‐and‐go printing, achieving near‐bulk copper conductivity and enabling fully embedded, assembly‐free electronic components ...
