AFFINE STRINGS [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1993
A new model of bosonic strings is considered. An action of the model is the sum of the standard string action and a term describing an interaction of a metric with a linear (affine) connection. The Lagrangian of this interaction is an arbitrary analytic function f(R) of the scalar curvature. This is a classically integrable model.

Monte Carlo configuration interaction applied to multipole moments, ionisation energies and electron affinities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The method of Monte Carlo configuration interaction (MCCI) [1,2] is applied to the calculation of multipole moments. We look at the ground and excited state dipole moments in carbon monoxide.

Carbon monoxide binding to iron porphyrins [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
The carbon monoxide affinities of iron complexes of meso-tetra (α,α,α,α-o-pivalamidophenyl)porphyrin (the "picket fence" porphyrin) and of a "picket fence" porphyrin derivative with an appended axial base have been measured in solution and compared with ...
