Unifying Composition and Process Design: A Heterogeneous Graph Neural Network for Discovering High‐Performance Cu Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By overcoming the fixed‐path limitations of conventional machine learning, a heterogeneous graph neural network fundamentally reconstructs material data representation. Integrating variable processing sequences with intrinsic elemental features, this framework enables exploratory optimization across high‐dimensional spaces.

Learning Markov Jump Affine Systems via Regression Trees for MPC

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2020
Abstract Model Predictive Control is a well consolidated technique to design optimal control strategies, leveraging the capability of a mathematical model to predict a system’s behavior over a time horizon. However, building physics-based models for complex large-scale systems can be cost and time prohibitive.

AI‐Designed Cyclic Peptides Enable Controllable Modulation of the CD28 Immune Checkpoint

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
AI‐designed cyclic peptides enable controllable modulation of the CD28 immune checkpoint through reversible disruption of CD28‐CD80/CD86 interactions. The lead peptide, CIP‐3, suppresses T‐cell activation without intrinsic agonist activity, demonstrates dose‐dependent efficacy in a murine colitis model, and attenuates inflammatory cytokine production ...

Genetic diversity in white clover and its progenitors as revealed by DNA fingerprinting

open access: yesBiologia Plantarum, 2012
The genetic diversity and ancestral relationships of a number of Trifolium species was revealed by using the amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and the random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. Both markers produced few species-specific

Affine Toda field theory from tree unitarity [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2004
Elasticity property (i.e. no-particle creation) is used in the tree level scattering of scalar particles in 1+1 dimensions to construct the affine Toda field theory(ATFT) associated with root systems of groups $a_2^{(2)}$ and $c_2^{(1)}$. A general prescription is given for constructing ATFT (associated with rank two root systems) with two self ...

Intramolecular Interactions between Folded and Disordered Regions Shape Ubiquilin Structure and Function

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ubiquilin (UBQLN), like many other human proteins, contains both well‐folded and disordered regions. Here, we show that intramolecular interactions between disordered regions and folded domains modulate between open and closed topologies of UBQLN proteins, altering their structure and function.

Using of the notion «Pareto set» for development of the forecasting models based on the modified clonal selection algorithm

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2016
The algorithm which carries out the multiobjective optimization at realization of the modified clonal selection algorithm based on the use of the notion «Pareto set» when the parental population of antibodies should be created for development of the ...

Synergistic Enhancement of Electrical‐Thermal Properties in KH550/G‐POSS Functionalized BN/Epoxy Composites for High‐Frequency Transformer Insulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A BN@G‐POSS/EP nanocomposite is developed for high‐frequency transformer insulation in power electronic transformers. Through synergistic interface engineering, it simultaneously enhances thermal conductivity, reduces viscosity, and improves electro‐thermal stability.

Spatio-Temporal Distribution of Carabids Influenced by Small-Scale Admixture of Oak Trees in Pine Stands

open access: yesDiversity, 2020
In a region with poor soil fertility, low annual precipitation and large areas of homogenous Pinus sylvestris L. forests, conservation of old sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) trees is one option to enrich structure and species richness.
