Body size as a metric for the affordable world
The physical body of an organism serves as a vital interface for interactions with its environment. Here, we investigated the impact of human body size on the perception of action possibilities (affordances) offered by the environment.

Cerebellum, Basal Ganglia, and Cortex Mediate Performance of an Aerial Pursuit Task
The affordance competition hypothesis is an ethologically inspired theory from cognitive neuroscience that provides an integrative neural account of continuous, real-time behavior, and will likely become increasingly relevant to the growing field of ...

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Sulfur fluoride exchange (SuFEx) is a powerful click platform, yet water‐compatible multifunctional linchpins remain elusive. Here, we report decagram‐scalable diazonium linchpins that enable rapid Pd‐catalyzed diversification and direct, catalyst‐free on‐DNA ligation in aqueous media.

Affordance effects vs. Spatial Compatibility
Numerous experimental paradigms have been built in order to measure affordance effect. Delayed handle-response compatibility and action priming paradigms are two alternatives in this regards.

Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...
