[Morphologic and morphometric studies of the liver of the white rat during inadequate feeding and aflatoxin poisoning].

open access: yesVoprosy pitaniia, 1984
The authors carried out morphological and morphometric studies of the liver of rats under malnutrition and chronic aflatoxin intoxication for 2 and 7 months. Malnourished animals demonstrated atrophic alterations. Animals exposed to aflatoxin B1 manifested severe dystrophic and necrobiotic alterations which did not depend on the nutrition regimen.

[Search for lesions caused by aflatoxin B1 poisoning in 3 industrial chicken farms on the Ivory Coast].

open access: yesRevue d'elevage et de medecine veterinaire des pays tropicaux, 1992
A systematic search for feed contamination by aflatoxin-B1 as well as for lesions indicating an acute or chronic aflatoxicosis was made in three groups of industrially raised hens in Côte-d'Ivoire. The contamination rates were low although they were 6 to 10 times higher than the official standards.

Development of a graphene field-effect transistor biosensor to detect aflatoxin B1

open access: yes, 2019
Aflatoxicosis is an intoxication caused by ingestion of aflatoxin through contaminated food and ration. There is great interest from both academia and industry in the use of relatively inexpensive miniaturized sensors for the detection of aflatoxin B1 ...
