Based on GBD 2021, the study analyzed the temporal trends of ischemic stroke (IS) burden in China from 1990 to 2021 and forecasted incidence and mortality through 2050. The absolute burden of IS in China will continue to rise by 2050, driven mainly by population aging, with faster age‐standardized incidence rate growth in females than males.

Obesity Increases Cardiovascular Strain During Passive Whole‐Body Heat Stress in Middle‐Aged Women
ABSTRACT Objective Heat‐related mortality is greater in middle‐aged and older women, compared with age‐matched men, and in those with obesity, although the causes are unclear. Methods Thermoregulatory and cardiovascular responses were assessed in (n = 10 per group) young women (21 ± 2 years), middle‐aged women without obesity (−OB; 55 ± 6 years), and ...

Abstract Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) amplification, a significant cancer alteration with both prognostic and therapeutic relevance, lacks a standardized definition. The relationship between FGFR1 copy number (CN) variations and tumour microenvironment (TME) characteristics also remains poorly understood.

Multipathway schematic of endocrine therapy–induced cancer‐related fatigue. Endocrine interventions trigger four interacting mechanisms—neuroendocrine dysregulation, systemic inflammation, energy‐metabolic failure, and psycho‐behavioral amplification—that culminate in the multidimensional CRF phenotype.
