Age Distributions in Dividing Populations
We show that the age distribution tends to a limit for each population of cells that die or divide according to continuous age-dependent schedules. This limiting distribution is independent of the initial age distribution. Explicit formulas are given for the limiting age distributions and for all stationary age distributions.
