MARK-AGE biomarkers of ageing [PDF]
Many candidate biomarkers of human ageing have been proposed in the scientific literature but in all cases their variability in cross-sectional studies is considerable, and therefore no single measurement has proven to serve a useful marker to determine, on its own, biological age.

Ages of records in random walks [PDF]
We consider random walks with continuous and symmetric step distributions. We prove universal asymptotics for the average proportion of the age of the kth longest lasting record for k=1,2,... and for the probability that the record of the kth longest age

The age of an individual star cannot be measured, only estimated through mostly model-dependent or empirical methods, and no single method works well for a broad range of stellar types or for a full range in age.
