A Babesiasis Card Agglutination Test
American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1974SUMMARY A babesiasis card agglutination test (bct) has been developed for detecting specific antibodies in cattle infected with Babesia bigemina. The agglutinating antigen was isolated from the blood of a splenectomized calf having 22% B bigemina parasitemia. The antigen was preserved with 0.02% formalin and stained with fast green dye.
