Id-Based Aggregate Signature Scheme and Its Application in Authenticated Routing [PDF]
An aggregate signature scheme can aggregate n signatures on n distinct messages from n distinct signers into a single signature. Thus,n verification equations can be reduced to one.So the aggregate signature adapts to Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET).

Cryptanalysis of a Compact Certificateless Aggregate Signature Scheme [PDF]
In this paper, we cryptanalyze a recently proposed compact certificateless aggregate signature scheme (CCLAS) and show that it is in fact insecure against a Type-I attack.

Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

An Efficient Homomorphic Aggregate Signature Scheme Based on Lattice [PDF]
Homomorphic aggregate signature (HAS) is a linearly homomorphic signature (LHS) for multiple users, which can be applied for a variety of purposes, such as multi‐source network coding and sensor data aggregation. In order to design an efficient postquantum secure HAS scheme, we borrow the idea of the lattice‐based LHS scheme over binary field in the ...

A Practical Lattice-Based Sequential Aggregate Signature [PDF]
In this work, we construct a lattice-based efficient Sequential Aggregate Signature (SAS) scheme that is provably secure in standard ideal cipher model with some slight changes. This framework is inspired by the scheme of Gentry et al.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
