Inspired by the real needs of group decision problems, aggregation of ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators is studied and discussed. Our results can be applied for data acting on any real interval, such as the standard scales $[0,1]$ and $[0,\infty [$ , bipolar scales $[-1,1]$ and $\mathbb {R}=]-\infty, \infty [$ , etc.

Aggregation operators with annihilator
International Journal of General Systems, 2005This paper is devoted to the study of a special kind of aggregation operators: commutative, non-decreasing binary operators F on [0,1] with annihilator and such that F(0,0) = 0 and F(1,1) = 1 . A characterization of this kind of operators is given, including many examples and properties in the general case.

Aggregation operators based on indistinguishability operators
International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2006This article gives a new approach to aggregating assuming that there is an indistinguishability operator or similarity defined on the universe of discourse. The very simple idea is that when we want to aggregate two values a and b we are looking for a value l that is as similar to a as to b or, in a more logical language, the degrees of equivalence of ...

Stability in Aggregation Operators
2012Aggregation functions have been widely studied in literature. Nevertheless, few efforts have been dedicated to analyze those properties related with the family of operators in a global way. In this work, we analyze the stability in a family of aggregation operators The stability property for a family of aggregation operators tries to force a family to ...

DIVERGENCE MEASURES AND AGGREGATION OPERATIONS
International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2000In this paper we study the relations between divergence measures of two fuzzy sets and other well-known functions, namely aggregation operations and measures of fuzziness. We will show that these functions can be related. Therefore, we study some consequences of these properties as an application; indeed, we obtain some special cases of divergence ...
