Aggregation Operators and Additive Generators

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2001
Generated aggregation operators on continuous and discrete scales derived by means of a generating system are introduced. Linear generating systems are shown to be equivalent with the class of weighted means. The following classes are characterized: symmetric generated aggregation operators, idempotent generated aggregation operators, generated ...

Fitting Aggregation Operators

2016
This paper treats the problem of fitting aggregation operators to empirical data. Specifically, we are interested in modelling of the conjunction in human language. To our knowledge, the first attempt to see how humans "interpret" the conjunction for graded properties is due to the paper [1]. In that case, simply the minimum t-norm came out.

Characterization of invariant aggregation operators

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2004
Aggregation of numerical data not reflecting the ordinal structure of input data suffers from the chosen scale we deal with. If the ordinal structure of input data is dominant, the corresponding aggregation should be invariant under transformations preserving the ordinal structure.

DIVERGENCE MEASURES AND AGGREGATION OPERATIONS

International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems, 2000
In this paper we study the relations between divergence measures of two fuzzy sets and other well-known functions, namely aggregation operations and measures of fuzziness. We will show that these functions can be related. Therefore, we study some consequences of these properties as an application; indeed, we obtain some special cases of divergence ...

Weak uninorm aggregation operators

Information Sciences, 2000
By weakening the identity condition for uninorms, a general class of associative aggregation operators, called weak uninorms, is introduced. It is proved that a continuous weak uninorm is a combination of a continuous t-norm and a continuous t-conorm through a median operator.

Associative identity aggregation operators

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1999
Abstract By weakening the identity condition of uninorm, a general class of associative identity aggregation operators called weak uninorm is introduced. It is proved that continuous weak uninorms are the combination of continuous t-norm and continuous t-conorm through median operator.
