α‐Glucosidase Inhibitory Potential of Citrus reticulata Peel‐Derived Flavonoids—A Prelude for the Management of Type 2 Diabetes

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
Flavonoids derived from Citrus reticulate peel inhibit α‐glucosidase activity, delaying carbohydrate digestion and reducing glucose absorption, thereby indicating their potential as functional food components for type 2 diabetes management. ABSTRACT α‐Glucosidase inhibitors (AGIs) are compounds used to treat type 2 diabetes (T2D) by preventing the ...

Counteranion Engineering of Ethylenediammonium Salts for Reproducible Surface Modification in p–i–n Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 10, Issue 3, 13 February 2026.
Engineering the counteranions of ethylenediammonium, a useful passivation molecule for perovskites, improves its solubility and clarifies how power conversion efficiency depends on concentration as well as on the choice of counteranion. This approach leads to improved reproducibility in perovskite solar cells.

Against the Manhattan project framing of AI alignment

open access: yesMind &Language, Volume 41, Issue 1, Page 119-136, February 2026.
In response to the worry that autonomous generally intelligent artificial agents may at some point take over control of human affairs a common suggestion is that we should “solve the alignment problem” for such agents. We show that current discourse around this suggestion often uses a particular framing of artificial intelligence (AI) alignment as ...

AGI Ethics

open access: yes
This document establishes a modern ethical doctrine for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), centered on motion-based alignment, recursive cognition, and symbolic compression. It rejects containment and control ethics in favor of self-reflective sovereignty.

Lichtinduzierte Orthogonale Reaktivität von Photoinitiatoren – Vom Reduktionsmittel zu Nanokompositen

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 4, 22 January 2026.

Unconventional ice nucleation pathway induced by irregular silver iodide surfaces

open access: yesCommunications Physics
In nature, water freezes predominantly in a heterogeneous manner. Silver iodide (AgI) serves as one of the most universal and efficient ice nucleating agents.

Sind i‐Motiv‐Strukturen in DNA kompatibel mit Cytosin–Ag(I)–Cytosin‐Basenpaaren?

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
