Fully Aqueous‐Processed Li‐Ion Electrodes with Ultra‐High Loading and Potential for Roll‐to‐Roll Processing

High areal capacity electrodes increase energy density by decreasing the fraction of inactive materials. The use of electrodes prepared from porous carbon current collectors infiltrated with the electrode slurry are a pathway to this goal. This concept can be scaled to a continuous process by the use of a padder tool.
