Decreased Specific Star Formation Rates in AGN Host Galaxies
We investigate the location of an ultra-hard X-ray selected sample of AGN from the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) catalog with respect to the main sequence (MS) of star-forming galaxies using Herschel-based measurements of the star formation rate (SFR)

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

PRIMUS: The relationship between Star formation and AGN accretion
We study the evidence for a connection between active galactic nuclei (AGN) fueling and star formation by investigating the relationship between the X-ray luminosities of AGN and the star formation rates (SFRs) of their host galaxies.

A Supramolecular Reversible and Anisotropic Conductive Adhesive for Flexible Electronics
Supramolecular network‐based nanocomposites are developed as a stretchable conductive adhesive for flexible electronics. It's as convenient as traditional solders and constructs anisotropic conductive and robust stretchable connections among diverse soft/rigid materials.

Does the obscured AGN fraction really depend on luminosity? [PDF]
We use a sample of 151 local non-blazar AGN selected from the INTEGRAL all-sky hard X-ray survey to investigate if the observed declining trend of the fraction of obscured (i.e.

ABSTRACT The goal of this study is to confirm the feasibility of the use of digitized low dispersive MtWilson Michigan Southern Sky Hα$$ \alpha $$ survey astronomical photographic plates for modern astrophysical research. The detection of highly redshifted objects, such as early galaxies and quasars, is fundamental to understanding the universe's ...

Intermediate Inclinations of Type 2 Coronal-Line Forest AGN
Coronal-Line Forest Active Galactic Nuclei (CLiF AGN) are remarkable in the sense that they have a rich spectrum of dozens of coronal emission lines (e.g. [FeVII], [FeX] and [NeV]) in their spectra.

Fading AGN Candidates: AGN Histories and Outflow Signatures∗
Abstract We consider the energy budgets and radiative history of eight fading active galactic nuclei (AGNs), identified from an energy shortfall between the requirements to ionize very extended (radius > 10 kpc) ionized clouds and the luminosity of the nucleus as we view it directly.

Hidden No More: Spotlight on Tidal Disruption Events in Active Galactic Nuclei
ABSTRACT Tidal disruption events (TDEs) are typically discovered in previously quiescent galaxies. However, earlier studies have revealed a handful of TDEs occurring in pre‐existing active galactic nuclei (AGN). We discuss AT2019aalc, a promising TDE candidate in an AGN, and compare it to similar sources.

Double-peaked narrow emission lines in active galactic nucleus (AGN) spectra can be produced by AGN outflows, rotation, or dual AGNs, which are AGN pairs in ongoing galaxy mergers.
