ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

Enhanced Minijet Production in $A-A$ Collisions from Gluons with Large Transverse Momenta
We find supersaturation for the intrinsic gluon distribution of nuclei, i.e. the low $x$ unintegrated nuclear gluon distribution peaks at intermediate transverse momenta $k_t=Q_s$ and vanishes at zero $k_t$.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Theta dependence of CP^9 model
We apply to the $CP^9$ model two recently proposed numerical techniques for simulation of systems with a theta term. The algorithms, successfully tested in the strong coupling limit, are applied to the weak coupling region.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...
