Flying over Jacob's ladder of density functional approximations: chemical accuracy in the DFT‐based modeling of CO2 reduction electrocatalysis can be approached with our simple semiempirical method to deconvolute and correct gas‐phase errors and adsorbed‐phase errors.

A [3]Rotaxane Containing {Ti7Ga} Rings Linking CuII: Synthesis, Structure, and Spectroscopic Studies

Extended hybrid inorganic‐organic [2]‐ and [3]‐rotaxanes are reported based on heterometallic rings with threads that link CuII complexes; the crystal structures are reported, and the solution behavior is investigated by double electron electron resonance spectroscopy methods.

We report the synthesis bis(arylethynyl)naphtho‐ and anthraquinones via Rh(I)‐catalyzed [2 + 2 + 2] cycloaddition reactions. The substrate scope of both quinones and linked bis‐diynes was explored. Microwave irradiation remarkably enhanced yields.

In a neuron with hyperpolarization activated current ($I_h$), the correct input frequency leads to an enhancement of the output response. This behavior is known as resonance and is well described by the neuronal impedance.

Electrochemical Water Oxidation Mechanisms Involving Macrocyclic Copper(II) Complexes: Ligand Ring Size Effects on Catalytic Cycles

The ring size of the ligand strongly influences electronic properties, steric effects, and coordination modes of key intermediates. Both catalysts show similar energy barriers for OO bond formation, but [Cu(12‐TMC)]2+ exhibits more complex mechanisms due to ligand reorganization.

Pharmacokinetic Evaluation of a Cinnamon Product on CYP2A6 Substrate Drugs: Application of a Novel Tool Involving the Nicotine Metabolite Ratio

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum spp.) is used as a culinary spice and dietary supplement. A major constituent, cinnamaldehyde, was previously shown to inactivate cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2A6 in vitro. A mechanistic static model predicted an ~5‐fold increase in the AUC of the CYP2A6 substrates nicotine and letrozole.

Abstract 3D scanning is rapidly becoming a key maintenance tool. Aerospace was a pioneer in adopting 3D scanning technology because aircraft manufacture and maintenance require precision. Monitoring deterioration, removing components for maintenance, and verifying covert operations are not practical or helpful without technology.
